the first painted in the center with an arrangement of fruit and leaves, the second molded as a puce-veined leaf shading from green to yellow on the rim, the Chelsea dish with a brown anchor mark.

Condition

Chelsea dish: Some misfiring and speckling to the rim edge, some flaking to the green enamels and some minor occasional crazing to the glaze. Longton Hall dish: There is an approximate 1 1/2 x 1 1/2-in. restored and made-up area to the rim, opposite the stem handle and an adjacent tiny chip to the underside of the rim edge; a minor small restored chip to the underside of the rim; an area of overspray to the handle side of the rim measuring approximately 8 in. covering a restored break that included the handle as well; and some overpainting to the yellow and green enamels.
