Condition

These meubles d'appui are in good condition, with marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The marble tops with marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The giltwood frieze on both is worn in places and presents minor chipping. One cabinet with minor restorations to the front door panel veneer and floral marquetry, with old woodworm holes that have been filled. One short horizontal shrinking crack to the bottom right corner of the front panel, and one short vertical one to the opposite end. The lock was once forced open, the wood border bearing light signs of this. The other cabinet with similar integrated restorations and sparse shrinking cracks, and one minor lifting to veneer on the left return. Both cabinets with traces of woodworm which appears to be no longer active.
