A set of four Italian cream painted and carved giltwood fauteuils Genoa, mid 18th century

In overall good conserved condition. They are slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. Old minor marks, chips and scratches commensurate with age and normal usage. Reblocked. Decoration refreshed in parts. Some wear to the decoration as visible from the photograph. There are some hairline construction cracks at the joints which can easily be filled or left as they do not detract from the piece. Evidence of old minor worm which appears to be no longer active.
