Condition
The canvas has been lined, the paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear and even. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals spot retouching throughout, and two horizontal lines of retouching, perhaps to old tears: one lower left, measuring approx. 5 cm., from the left margin through the bottom of the figures; the other extending approx. 10 cm. from the right margin in the upper right corner. In overall good condition.
