with a contemporary English pastoral landscape needlework panel, finely worked in tent stitch petit-point, together with a George II style carved mahogany pie-crust tripod table, 19th century (2)
Condition
Needlework panel distressed condition, with areas of foundation visible and stitching lacking, especially to the sky, and the outer edges, which indicate a differentiation in colour and condition and were possibly previously behind a frame, and the whole panel has been applied to this surround later. Some areas of later reworking, especially too green hillocks of foreground, and visible as the darker outer highlighting to the figures and horses, as visible in the photograph.
Pole misshapen and warped. Finial probably later. Pole rubbed and with damage. Base nice quality.
Tripod
Top and pedestal possibly associated. Fracture to one leg.
