the hinged top opening to reveal a leather lined interior enclosing a cut glass mixing bowl and lidded decanters
Condition
Lovely quality.
Typical old marks and scratches - which generally do not detract. Some very small sections of veneer replaced, this appears to have occurred a long time ago. Small re-glued crack to lid. Some discolouration to satinwood around silver swing handle on lid (probably from polish). The attractive red leather interior with old marks and some very small holes and lifting. Later velvet surface to underside.
The glass components good and original to this box, which is nice. The mixing bowl with scuffs to underside. The caddy-bottles with some minor polished out chips. The stoppers with chips to edges and flared neck of each.
