Condition
The commode is in fair condition, with marks and scratches consistent with age and use, notably to the top which has some watermarks. There are minor losses overall to the veneers, especially to the moulded plinth. One handle lacking from the bottom drawer, and it is possible these handles are later. Some replaced elements to the plinth base. Evidence of historic worm notably to sides which has resulted in some fragmentation. Attractive shape.
