Condition
The canvas is lined. Signs of old but stable craquelure across the surface. Also dirty and should benefit from cleaning.
Ultraviolet light reveals areas of infilling to craquelure, most prominent in the sky. Also larger areas of retouching in the sky and scattered flecks elsewhere across the surface.
Held in a gilt plaster frame.
