of faceted cylindrical form, comprised of joined upright panels, two extending with rectangular apertures forming supports for the shaped handle, the vessel with reinforced metal mounts, a single plain flat band at the mid-section, and two further bands with pendent ruyi-heads encircling the form at both the mouth rim and base, fitted wood cover inset with ruyi-head metal mount (3)

Condition

There is a repaired split to the cover which is now reinforced by the later added conforming metal mounts. There is staining to the cover. The caddy has loose slats due to shrinkage. The surface has expected wear from age and use.
