註：本幅題「寫於吳門寓齋」，時阜長已自蕭山轉居蘇州，蓋當地商業蓬勃，文風鼎盛，且書畫仝道雲集，正一展所長之地。畫中有高士戴笠扶杖，童子攜琴隨侍，主僕跨橋渡水，徜徉入林。密樹濃蔭間有嵐氣穿插迴盪，一片清幽靜謐。其人物開臉、造型、衣飾，樹石草木，以至敷色施彩，皆見任熊畫風之影響，而伯年早年作品之雛形，亦取法於此，「三任」間畫藝之傳承關係，從中可見。
