Description

  • rock
comprising an archaistic incense burner and cover, the moon resting on swirling clouds and flanked by two rabbits, together with a coral ornament carved in the form of the head of a monkey, two wood stands

Condition

All three pieces are in overall good condition. There are light nibblings to the edges of the rock crystal pieces, and inclusions to the 'moon' carving. The 'monkey' carving has been polished to one side as visible in the catalogue photo and the reverse has been pierced for suspension.
