the bell cast to the handle with the head of Vairocana supporting a half vajra-shaped terminal, the shoulder of the bell with lança characters within lappets, above garlands of beaded tassels and Buddhist symbols between borders of visvavajra; the vajra cast with a central bulbous grip seperating two lotus pedestals, each supporting a central column surrounded by four arched vajra points

Condition

The bell is generally in good condition. There are traces of glue around the section where the handle joins the bell and the string suspending the clapper is later replaced. The vajra is in overall good condition with traces of red pigment to the surface.
