the compressed globular body rising to a tall flared neck, the exterior decorated in the famille-rose palette with two birds perched on long lotus stalks issuing from a dense cluster of foliage detailed with a lotus bloom, inscribed Liu Yucen xie ('written by Liu Yucen') followed by a zhuren seal mark, the base with a four-character Jianguo gongsi seal mark

Condition

The overall condition is very good except for a few occasional flakes to the unglazed footring. The enamels have been generally well preserved.
