engraved to the top of the cover with a central medallion enclosing a pair of phoenix, surrounded by meandering foliate scrolls issuing flowers and fruits, the sides with a band of classic scrolls, the box similarly decorated
Condition
The box and cover are in overall good condition. The thin sheet of silver is slightly warped in areas as visible on the photo, and also on the base. There is expected light surface wear and tarnishing to the alloy.
