the ewer with an ovoid body rising to a sloping shoulder, set with a gently curved spout and a loop strap handle, the cylindrical neck surmounted by a fitted cover with an animal finial; the warming bowl with deep lobed sides rising to a foliate rim, all covered with a translucent blue-tinged glaze
Condition
They are in overall good condition. There are minor nicks and polished fritting to the edges, including a flake of approx. 1.3 cm to the rim of the bowl and another to the rim of the cover. They also have some typical firing imperfections, including spur marks and kiln grits especially to the bases of the ewer and the bowl.
