Description

  • ceramic
thickly potted with shallow flaring sides rising at an angle from a short tapered foot, covered overall with a lustrous glaze suffused with a network of fine crackles, the unglazed foot ring burnt to a light orange in the firing

Provenance

Collection of Alberto Giuganino (1887-1979), Rome.

Condition

It is in overall good condition except for an approx. 1 cm flake with an associated 0.9 cm glaze bruise at the outer mouthrim. There are also some typical firing imperfections.
