of conical form, moulded to the interior with a pair of phoenix below a key-fret band, covered overall save for the base with an attractive translucent bluish-white glaze, Japanese wood box
Condition
There are some typical crackles in the glaze extending from the rim. There has been slightly polished in one place, possibly to conceal a minute chip. The is a 3.2 cm gap in the the glaze to the underside of the rim.
