of oval section, deftly carved in openwork with a phoenix-shaped handle opposite a curved spout, one side with a chilong clambering sinuously and resting its paws on the rim, the celadon stone mottled with icy specks, wood stand

Condition

The vase is in good overall condition. There are some occasional minor nibbles or nicks along the edge of the carving. The actual colour is deeper and less yellow compared to the catalogue illustration.
