comprising a pair of green and orange soapstone seals, each with an irregular top carved with bats and cloud scrolls, incised with inscriptions on one side; a pair of red soapstone seals, each of square section and decorated with a lingzhi scroll top, an inscription incised on one side; and a small green soapstone seal with a rounded top and signed Deng Sanmu on one side
Condition
The seals are in overall good condition with expected small chips and bruises to the edges and corners, notably to the seal faces and carved finials. There are also small areas of pitting to the stones. The actual colours of the stones are quite consistent with the catalogue illustration.
