此瓶器形雅致，飾雙如意耳，並綴弦紋，甚為罕見。相類青瓷瓶僅見兩例，其一售於香港蘇富比1983年5月14日，編號452；其二售於倫敦蘇富比1987年6月9日，編號182。

此類棒槌瓶多飾雙龍或雙鳳耳，韓國新安沉船（1323年或稍晚）中便出土數例，刊於《Special Exhibition of Cultural Relics Found off Sinan Coast》，韓國國立中央博物館，首爾，1977年，編號4-7。
