well potted with steep sides rising to a slightly incurved rim, covered with a pale blue glaze thinning to a buff colour at the rim with tones of lavender below the inner and outer rim, the glaze pooling around the neatly finished unglazed brown foot

The bowl is generally in good condition. There is a gap in the glaze of 1.5 cm possibly original to the firing, together with some light scratching and wear consistent with age. There are a couple of old flakes to the glaze to the side of the foot, also likely to be original. The actual colour is consistent if not slightly lighter than the catalogue illustration.
