Description
- ceramic
robustly potted with steep sides rising to a thick everted rim, crisply moulded with scrolling leafy vines bearing three peonies, all centred with a single flowerhead bearing the character hui, the exterior with incised knife-cut ribs radiating from the foot, covered overall in a glaze of olive green tone, with an appreciation certificate by Takatoshi Misugi (b. 1929)
Condition
The bowl is in overall good condition. There are some glaze gaps to the lower part of the exterior and around the foot, as visible in the catalogue illustration.
