Condition
The structure is sound. There are some fine cracks to the work, in line with the grain of the wood. There are nail heads apparent at both of the vertical painted sides of the work, and there are some associated lines of cracking and paint loss. There are some small areas of rubbing at the extreme protruding edges of the work, with associated small flecks of loss. There is a small loss to the wood at the upper edge of the work, and there is a scratch with some associated loss to the middle painted protruding element. There is a shallow indentation to the uppermost metal element and two or three light scratches and some light scuffing to the other metal elements. There is some surface dirt and studio detritus to the work in places. Subject to the above the work is in good overall condition.
The work is attached to a metal base with two screws.
