Condition
The board is sound. There are a few small flecks of loss, and there are light surface scratches in places. The most prominent being flecks of loss in the bottom left quadrant, with further spots in the lower right corner, to the sun upper right and a scratch to the centre of the composition. There is a light layer of surface dirt to the work and two or three specks of studio detritus.
Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is held in a painted tray frame.
