Condition
The work is very slightly loose on its hinge. There is an area of light wear to the breast of the figure, where it 'knocks' against the surface, and areas of light rubbing associated with use. There are spots of uneveness to the patina, and there is some light surface dirt and the surface is oxidised in places most apparently in the crevices of the work. There are a few minor scuffs and knocks to the bronze in places. Subject to the above the work is in good overall condition.
The sculpture is attached to a rectangular wood plinth by a single screw.
