Condition
The sculpture is sound. There are one or two very slight areas of rubbing, most noticeable to the left thigh and waist of the figure. There are two small areas of oxidisation to the reverse of the throne at the bottom, with one or two further small spots in places. There are spots of discolouration to the reverse of the throne. There is a light layer of surface dirt to the work, particularly in the crevices of the bronze, and traces of casting residue. There are couple of tiny casting imperfections, most noticeably to the reverse of the figure's skirt. Subject to the above the work is in very good overall condition.
The work is presented on a rectangular polished wood plinth, to which it is attached by one, slightly loose, screw.
