Black letter type in two columns, titles of the Apocrypha and New Testament printed in red and black within pictorial woodcut borders, the "Ballet of Balettes of Salomon" printed in red and black, 54 column-width woodcuts only, including two large woodcuts before Psalms and Proverbs, numerous historiated and floral woodcut initials, including the flourished initials "W.T." (i.e., William Tyndale) at the conclusion of the Book of Prophets (MM6v); 43 leaves lacking among others: preliminaries including general title, Hh1 (title-page for the Prophets), N8 and final quire O (8 leaves), approximately 127 leaves remargined, lower margins strengthened on approximately 16 leaves, several other marginal repairs to short tears, approximately 6 long closed tears touching text, lower half of New Testament title-page torn away partially affecting woodcut border, the whole leaf laid down, dampstaining in quire M. Modern pigskin over beveled wooden boards, marbled endpapers, spine lettered gilt, edges stained red; boards colored in a mottled pink and purple.
