Contemporary green vellum over boards, speckled edges; rebacked, restored.

Catalogue Note

The text is arranged in four columns across facing pages: Hebrew, Vugate, a literal Latin version of the Septuagint, Greek Septuagint; at the foot of the versos is a Chaldee paraphrase, and at the foot of the rectos a Latin translation of the same. 3 Maccabees is printed only in parallel columns of the Greek Septuagint and its Latin translation, while the rest of the Apocrypha is printed in three columns, with the Vulgate being added to the Greek Septuagint and its Latin translation.
