Description

the hammered gold sheet cut in lobed medallion form with two birds between a lotus bud at the top, set in the centre with a flowerhead containing colourful stones, polychrome enamelled motifs, hanging blossom-form pendants with seed-pearls, the reverse enamelled with a portrait of a lady, link chain for hanging

Condition

In fair condition, most of the enamel missing to front, revealing the incised design, foil-backed glass, section of strung seed-pearls missing to one side of hanging link, reverse also with missing sections of enamel, as viewed.
