composed of two tones wood with ivory inlay, top and front featuring a couple beneath a tree in a lobed medallion, sides and reverse with foliate stylised design, brass handles for carrying, interior of hinged lid with two couples in a forest with birds, with eight compartments opening to reveal six drawers
Condition
In poor condition, the drawers to inside all later replacements, the hinged lid does not close (lock lost), abrasion and heavy oxidisation to metal mounts, many sections of ivory missing, some sections restored, generally worn, some scratches to wood, as viewed.
