comprising multiple sections from the same silk cloth stitched together, designed with a repeat pattern of a bird in a rose-bush with butterfly composed of green, pink, brown, yellow and blue with gold and silver-threads, mounted on a stretcher
Condition
Fragmentary, although from same loom, some sections joined together in slightly disparate order, minor sections with light fraying and associated consolidation, mounted on a custom cloth canvas with the edges sown lightly on, please consult a professional restorer as to the conservation of this piece and its application on the canvas, as viewed.
