Description

the curved tapering watered-steel blade of peshkabz type with broad flattened back, inlaid with silver floral motifs at forte and cartouches containing inscriptions, the green hardstone hilt with faceted edges and round pommel, velvet-covered wood scabbard with silver-plated mounts

Condition

In fairly good condition, the hilt with patches of oxidisation, associated discoloration and some abrasion, notably to tip, some of the silver inlay missing, re-soldered onto the hilt, the scabbard worn, losses to velvet due to rubbing and dents in mount, as viewed.
