Description

  • Gilt copper
dressée sur une petite base carrée à degrés, ornée de quatre paires de lions en ceinture, le stupa décoré de masques et de guirlandes perlées, l’avant agrémenté d’une image du Bouddha Shakyamuni peinte dans un cadre en forme de pétale de lotus, l’ensemble surmonté d’une flèche spiralée flanquée de rinceaux feuillagés et terminée par les symboles du soleil et de la lune, non scellée

Condition

The finial at the top of the stupa is a later replacement. There is light overall wear to the gilding and some losses to the stone inlays. The upper part featuring the window with the image of buddha behind glass is movable. The base is open.
