Condition
The board is stable. There are four original mounting framing nails to all four corners. There appears to be no signs of retouching under UV light. There are a few tiny fly spots in places. There are some pigment flacking at the upper right corner and a small hairline fracture to the board at the upper right corner. This work is in very good original condition.

Catalogue Note
This work is a portrait of the artist’s son Dominique, born in 1909 and one of his sisters, probably Anne-Marie, in the garden of the artist’s house Le Prieuré, which then became the Musée départemental Maurice Denis in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
