Condition
The canvas is unlined and is slightly undulating. There is some slight frame-rubbing to the extreme edges with associated dots of retouching visible under UV light. Under UV light, there is an old varnish making reading difficult. There are traces of inpainting to very minor paint losses to the right of the fruit bowl, to the centre of the large basket, towards the middle of the bottom of the composition, near the bird and in other scattered areas. There are traces of inpainting to minor craquelure in various areas. This work is in good condition.
