Condition

The canvas is unlined. There is some stable shrinkage predominately to the upper part of the composition. There are some traces of inpainting to the left lower and upper corners and along the upper right edge. There are additional touches around the horse's neck and a few spots of retouching on his left leg and to his backside. There are a few touches on the man right hand arm, along the contours of his left hand side and to his lower left hand leg. This work is in good and stable condition.
