- An Egyptian Quartzite Head of a Man
- quartzite
- Height 5 3/8 in. 13.5 cm.
wearing a double wig composed of striated wavy strands radiating from the crown, echeloned rectangular curls in front, his round face with mouth deeply indented at the corners, full lips, and wide-set heavy-lidded eyes, the large ears with indented(?) lobes, the fragmentary top edge of the back-pillar remaining.

Condition
As shown and described in the catalogue. Note damage to nose and elsewhere. The surface is worn in places and the proper left temple and cheekbone area are chipped away. Several large old chips on the back of the wig.
