  • Height 18 cm. 7 1/8 in.
with parted lips, prominent brow, and creased forehead, hair hair falling over the forehead in comma-shaped locks and bound in a laurel(?) wreath; no restorations.

Trygve J. B. Hoff (1895-1982), Oslo, acquired in Rome in the 1950s upon the advice of Hans Peter L'Orange
by descent to the present owner

Condition

surface weathered, nose damaged, various chips and abrasions, large metal threaded dowel for a no-longer extant mount inserted into the back.
