- A Roman Marble Herm Bust of Hermes

- Height 37.5 cm. 14 3/4 in.
with long beard composed of symmetrical voluted curls, his hair arranged in three rows of corkscrew curls above the forehead and bound in a fillet, long strands of hair falling over the shoulders; restored is the tip of nose.

Condition
Restored in marble are tip of nose and wedge of curls above proper right side of forehead. Surface of head slightly weathered, consistently more on the proper left than on the proper right side. Both sides of beard equally weathered and pitted. Lower edge of base chipped in several places. Small pick-mark(?) on top of head. Minor chips, stress cracks, and abrasions overall.
