Condition
Oil on canvas, canvas is lined. Surface: In generally good condition aside from surface dirt, stretcher marks, and surface dirt. UNDER UV: Scattered areas of inpainting, predominantly in the background and signs of pentimento around the soldier's true right elbow. The figures are mostly clean, though there is a 2 inch area of inpainting on the grandmothers blouse/grandfather's shoulder, scattered dots and dashes on the boy and grandfather, and a few other small dots on the other figures.
