Oil on canvas. Canvas is wax lined. SURFACE: in good condition. UNDER UV: Crackle fill in sky and stream in mid-ground (as is usual for Lawson, with his use of heavy impasto), a vertical line of intermittent inpainting at center, inpainting at left edge, and a few spots of inpainting at left.
