Condition

Mounted on custom metal stand, secured by two metal rods into base. Many areas of minor pigment loss throughout surface, no apparent repairs or restoration.

Catalogue Note

This sculpture was originally catalogued in the Dorothy Bennett Collection as being by Benedict Palmeiua Munkara. However, it bears no stylistic resemblance to any known sculptures by Munkara, and is by the same hand as two sculptures in the Lance Bennett Collection, identified as being created by Jimmy Kerinua.
