Condition
Overall very good condition, with the exception of a small shallow indent, approximately 2mm x 3mm, to the top of the vase just below the top rim to one side. This nick is also visible in the catalogue photograph – at the right side just below the top rim. Please note that the color in the catalogue photograph is not accurate to the piece. In reality the blue ground is not a dark purple-blue, but a cooler and more attractive vivid blue that juxtaposes well with the red of the flowers. Overall in our opinion the vase presents well with good color and a bold design of graphic murrines.
