Condition

Overall condition very good, with no damage or restoration detected. There are occasional minor abrasions to surfaces and extremities commensurate with age - these are mostly located toward the base of the vase. The lower internal 1/8th of the vase has minor liquid residue to the surface. There is a minor area of impurity in the making to the interior of one of the clear and the neighboring green murrine to the bottom 1/8th of the vase, however in our opinion this does not adversely affect the overall appearance of the vase, and is an inherent feature of the manufacturing process. There are several other minor trapped impurities and occasional open air bubbles to the outer surfaces - again features of manufacturing process. The lower 1/8th of the vase has a good clear engraved signature "E Barovier Murano". The colors in the online and printed catalogue do not exactly match reality. The blues are less saturated and intense and are more subtle in reality. The orange looks more golden/yellowy orange in reality. The colors overall are more attractive in our opinion than as portrayed in the catalogue photography.
