Overall in good original condition. The wood appears to retain its original finish, which has been sensitively waxed. The oak surfaces with minor surface scratches, abrasions and edge wear with some small associated losses consistent with age and gentle use. The leather is original and presents with wear, crazing, a few surface stains consistent with age and gentle use as visible in the catalogue illustration. The seat with thee small tears, one of them visible in the catalogue illustration. The bench has retained its original tacks which presents with oxidation, surface scratches consistent with age and use. A very pure design by Stickley.
