Condition

The Eisengarn fabric of this iconic chair is original. The color of the fabric is more blue in reality than shown in the catalogue illustration. The underside of the seat fabric has kept its original color but with traces of atmospheric damage and traces of visible oxidation around the tubular nickel plated steel frame. One restoration to fabric on the proper left armrest presenting with a more vivid blue hue and visible in the catalogue illustration. Losses of nickel plating throughout the frame with visible scratches and pitting. Visible oxidation to steel showing through the pitted points. The armchair is steady.
