Catalogue Note
There was no "Jaguar" tray designed by Spratling for this set. Spratling sold a number of trays that would complement various sets. In 1949, Spratling created a number of designs to be produced by the Conquistador Company in Mexico City. After just one year, Spratling requested to cancel the contract and negotiations took over a year. The tray with this set has hallmarks used on Spratling designs produced by Conquistador during the latter time of contract cancellation negotiations.
