Overall the condition of the terracotta is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a slip to the surface which may conceal some condition points. However it appears that there are some restorations, including to the head. There are a few small lacunae, including to the right putto's abdomen and between the woman's proper left hand and her hair. There are some dirt marks to the right putto's drapery at the front. There is some rubbing to some of the high points, including the woman's proper left knee. There are a few minor chips along the bottom edge.
