Condition

Overall in very good condition. The “Lily” shades are in very good condition and are a well-matched assembled set displaying complementary form and coloration. The shades are beautifully iridized and when viewed with reflected light display strong luminous color and a range of saturated jewel-tone hues. Two shades with minute surface flecks to the top aperture rims, which are exceedingly minor and only visible under very close inspection when the shades are not installed. The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display an exceptionally rich and satisfying green and russet brown patina. The bronze surfaces with some occasional light surface scratches and light rubbing consistent with age and gentle use. The lower base with a few minor traces of surface residue and with surface soiling to the recessed contours of the base design. A few of the floral bobeches with some light surface scratches, rubbing and minor patina losses. All of the patinated floral bobeches and interior porcelain sockets appear to be original and undisturbed. The lamp appears to retain its original bronze “Lily Pad” switch on the lower base, but the switch does not presently activate the lamp. (If desired this could likely be restored by an electrician.) A superb example of this elegant and refined floor lamp design with an exceptional set of “lily” shades displaying outstanding coloration.
