Condition

Overall in very good condition. This vase has been examined under black light and there is no evidence of prior restoration. With minor surface imperfections and variations to the glaze, and fine craquelure to the glaze throughout, all inherent to the production. The midsection of the body with a minute surface fleck (1/16 inch). The vase interior is fully glazed in a rich vibrant green, showing fine craquelure throughout and surface soiling to the lower interior. An outstanding example of this dynamic model with a richly saturated glaze. When viewed firsthand the coloration of the green glaze is richer and warmer than seen in the catalogue illustration. The lighter passages of the glaze are a light yellow-green and not as light and subdued as they appear in the catalogue illustration.
